I feel like a kid again, exploring new things every day...

“I may look confident, even laid back, but under the surface, I’m a very anxious person. I think it comes from my obsession with potential. If I’m good at something and I like it, but I’m not doing it, I literally can’t sleep at night. So, sitting in an office all day, doing cool things but not what I truly loved, was slowly draining my motivation and happiness. I didn’t have the energy to do anything else. I didn’t have time to take photography trips or create short films. It was really impossible to follow my passions. Looking back now, after six months of doing my company full-time, the first one or two months were hard. My anxiety increased a lot because I suddenly realized I was free and I could literally do anything that I felt I had the potential to do. I had to figure out what I wanted. And then, very slowly, I started going back to my passions. Now, I’m taking photos again, filming, traveling, writing — I feel like a kid again, exploring new things every day. The anxiety dropped a lot. It didn’t just go away, it’s still there and it’s something I need to deal with. But now I have plenty of time to deal with it and to do all the things that are so important to me on a human level.”
