It wasn't easy. But I never quit, and I kept pushing forward. 💪

It's hard to say which acquisition channels worked best for me at first—I tried a lot of different approaches. I did a lot of outreach on Twitter, FB, and LinkedIn; I also tried posting on Reddit.
Ultimately, it was our blog Medium
that got us the most users.

Interesting. We're very new to this so still in the early days of experimenting with LinkedIn but we managed to put out a Medium article as well (see below). We were able to drive a little bit of traffic over (~15 unique visitors) and are investing more time into inbound marketing — hope it works.

It was a bit of both. I knew we wanted to make something that solved the problem I had, but then when I saw the amount of people asking about the same thing on Twitter and in other forums, I realized that there was an actual need.
