Hello everyone,
My name is Yunay Hamza. I’m happily married and a father of two young children. I live and work in Bulgaria, and I have over 10 years of experience as a full-stack developer.
For years, I’ve dreamed of building my own software product. I’ve started dozens of projects, but I never managed to bring one to completion. Each time, I eventually abandoned the project—either due to lack of time, motivation, or not having the right partner who shared the same vision.
I’m happy to say that I’ve finally broken that cycle.
After a lot of time and effort, I’ve built and launched my own product. It’s more of a hobby-style web app centered around collecting custom-made cards and unlocking stories. Many of the cards are based on real-world information. The idea is simple: users spend 5–10 minutes a day opening card packs and gradually unlocking additional content.
The platform includes features like:
Daily challenges
Daily bonuses
Focused card sets for targeted collecting
Monthly leaderboards based on different metrics
I’m fully aware that there’s still a lot to improve and build. However, my biggest challenge right now is user acquisition. I’ve been reading forums, watching videos, and trying to learn how to approach this—but it’s proving to be quite difficult. At this stage, I’m not convinced that investing money in ads is the right move.
I would truly appreciate any feedback—advice, criticism, or even encouragement—that could help point me in the right direction.

Hi Yunay, congrats, this looks great visually.
I can’t really comment on the concept as it’s not my area, but what you described about the cycle definitely resonated. I’ve found I naturally gravitate towards that early-stage excitement, new ideas, new builds, it plays to my strengths. The harder part for me has always been sticking with the less exciting but equally important bits.
I don’t think that’s unusual at all, especially now with AI making it easier than ever to start things. If anything, it’s amplified it.
What’s helped me is trying to stay anchored to the end goal and just making steady, incremental progress, even when the novelty wears off. I’m a co-founder of a SaaS business, and it’s been a mix of really enjoyable and pretty tough moments. That one’s escaped the abandoned projects graveyard! :)
Hi Andy,
Thanks for reaching out!
I’m doing my best to keep the “fire” going and stay motivated, although it’s getting more challenging over time.
Yes, artificial intelligence has been a big help.
As I mentioned, this has been one of my long-term dreams—to build a successful project—so I’ll keep going until I achieve it, whether with Fablecard or something else.
Wishing you all the best and continued success! 🙂
