TL;DR: Start a YouTube channel. Teach people. Sell automations.
I started my indie journey in April of 2023. Had no clue.
My goal was to make $1k MRR with a product that people will just find 😂
0 Marketing and 2 years later, I learned that building a brand matters.
Fast forward to May of 2025.
A few partnerships, where I act as the CTO, are in the works. I make about $1k on average.
I started cultivating a YouTube presence at https://youtube.com/@just_aristides
Why ?
Because the attention economy is a funnel to one's products.
The real kicker? n8n and gumroad
My goal was to leverage it as a backend development tool, in order to cut down on time to market.
As of July of 2025, it is my biggest asset and a source of recurring passive income.
Automations that help people appear faster on AI via automatic JSON-LD generation or posting Veo3 videos on YouTube are some of the top sellers.
While I have only generated $360 in revenue, (peanuts 🥜) -- for a small brand creator as myself, it means that I found PMF. Now my customers want more help after seeing my automations.
