Comparison pages tend to perform higher than others, and I recognized that most companies do not focus on improving their pages.
When you do not focus on conversion pages, you lose a position on "vs. or alternatives" search terms on Google and do not increase your conversion rate from those pages.
My tips:
1- A specific comparison main page, including articles related to competitors, will improve your SEO and help users find comparison pages easily.
2- Some companies place competitor articles on their footer as well. I know that this is good for SEO too.
3- To reduce the number of questions your support team receives, add a specific FAQ part to the competitors' page and share the common questions you receive related to your competitor.
4- Don't hesitate to share your missing features on comparison charts.
This will increase reliability.
5- If you receive a testimonial from your users who switched from your competitor, it's time to share it on comparison pages. :)
6- G2 reviews are still valuable and can be placed on comparison pages.
7- You should go with short URLs to increase your SEO performance.
8- Feature comparison charts, full of transparency works.
9- Pricing charts, including all details, can also work.
In addition, you can include a calculator to see how much they can save if they choose you.
What else would you like to add?

This is the first time I hear about “comparison pages” — makes good sense, thanks for the tip! 🤓
