I Got 127 Agency Signups in 28 Days by Solving One Expensive Problem

Three weeks ago, I posted in 15 agency Facebook groups:

"How much do you spend monthly on project management tools?"

The responses shocked me. They charge more we built tool which provid this all in $99. here is got hook and opportunity.

The $400/Month Problem

Agency after agency replied with the same pattern:

  • Basecamp: $150/month (20 users)
  • Harvest: $120/month (time tracking)
  • FreshBooks: $80/month (invoicing)
  • Dropbox: $50/month (file sharing)

Average total: $400+ monthly per agency

The kicker: Most were 5-15 person teams paying per-seat pricing that punished growth.

The Hook That Worked

I replied to every comment with: "What if you could get all of that for $99/month flat rate? Unlimited users, unlimited projects."

Response: "That's impossible" or "What's the catch?"

My answer: "No catch. We built it for agencies tired of tool juggling."

The 28-Day Results

  • 147 demo requests from Facebook group comments
  • 127 trial signups (86% conversion from demo)
  • 31 paid conversions in first month ($3,069 MRR)

Average deal size: $99/month (our flat rate)

Cost: $0 in ads. Just time commenting authentically.

The Psychology Behind It

Agencies have two pain points:

  • Tool fatigue (managing 5-8 different subscriptions)
  • Scaling anxiety (per-seat pricing hurts growth)
  • Our solution addressed both. One tool, flat pricing.

The Replication Framework

  • Find your audience's expensive problem (spend time in their communities)
  • Quantify the pain (get specific dollar amounts)
  • Offer radical simplification (one solution vs many tools)
  • Engage authentically (help first, sell second)

The Lesson actually learn is
Sometimes the best marketing is just solving an obvious expensive problem your audience faces daily.

The first $500 MRR is the hardest milestone because everything is manual and nothing compounds yet. The founders who get through it are usually the ones with conviction about a specific problem rather than a general vision.

What's the specific problem you're most confident about solving?
