I got this idea today, how feasible it is ?

Hello, i am coming from UX background, so iam not sure about how feasible is to do something like this.
the idea is simply an automated check list with all the messages and comments that mentions you from different sources. so you can follow up easily and see what and where you need to reply.
for example a mention on githup or a question on confluence or even mention on slack.
It will make a check list will all these messages so you can follow on it one by one, without having to check your notifications everywhere. and not to miss something.

depending on the feasibility, i am ready to work on this idea and also looking for partners.

It's technically doable. The user would have to link their different accounts to this 'automated check list' tool. I'm sure it might be a point of friction for some.

Most of the services you listed do have APIs that allows to check for that kind of information, though it might not always be the easiest or real-time either.

This is a good idea I'm drafted up something similar but It fell to l ok w in priority to do for me.

But go fourth with this just understand it's likely not going to be techy folk that end up being your main target market.

    Hi,

I can‘t tell you how great your idea is, because I don‘t know your audience and the exact pain point you want to solve. I think I would not use a tool like this, because every tool I know (Slack, Confluence, Github, etc.) supports email notification and that‘s good enough for me. I read the notification email, probably check the notification on the platform and delete the email when I‘m done.

But as I said: I don‘t know your target audience and probably I‘m not part of it. ;-)

i didnt define exactly the target audience, but what is in my mind is people in tech industries. with the large number of tools used, its hard to keep up with all the things going around. yes email notifications has it all, but you have to keep checking it every time and try to filter whats need your attention and what is not. my idea is take it all outside and organise it.
