Like many founders, I didn't build Synerdeck because I wanted another SaaS. I built it because I kept seeing the same frustrating problem.
Every agency seemed to onboard clients through a mix of emails, WhatsApp, Google Drive, Slack, and spreadsheets. Clients didn't know where to upload files, businesses kept sending reminder messages, and projects often started with unnecessary chaos.
I looked for a tool focused purely on onboarding, but most products were either full project management suites or CRMs with onboarding as an afterthought.
So I decided to build something simpler.
Synerdeck gives agencies and service businesses a branded client portal where they can collect files, share tasks, track progress, and onboard every client through the same structured workflow.
It's my first SaaS, and I'm building it in public while working toward the first 100 users. There's still a lot to improve, but shipping, listening to feedback, and iterating feels better than waiting for perfection.
If you've ever dealt with messy client onboarding, I'd genuinely love to hear how you handle it and what you'd improve.
What stood out to me is that you're not really organizing files—you're reducing uncertainty at the start of a client relationship.
The biggest cost of messy onboarding usually isn't the missing document. It's both sides wondering what's expected next. If Synerdeck consistently removes that ambiguity, it becomes much more than a client portal.
That's a really interesting perspective. Framing it as reducing uncertainty instead of organizing files completely changes how I think about the product. If that's the core value, I'd lean much harder into messaging around shared clarity and predictable onboarding rather than file management. It feels like a much stronger positioning.
I'm glad it resonated.
The way you described "shared clarity" left me with a question I'd want to explore before offering an opinion, because I think the answer depends on where you want Synerdeck to go from here.
