I got tired of manually rewriting my resume for every job — so I built ai-cv 💼

Hi everyone 👋

Job hunting made me realize something: the idea of tailoring your resume to every job is great, but the reality is… exhausting.

You find a new role, open the JD, then:

  • tweak the headline,

  • rewrite bullets to match their wording,

  • juggle skills and keywords for ATS,

  • export yet another PDF.

Do that 10–30 times and it stops being “crafting your story” and turns into admin hell.

So I’m building ai-cv.app — an AI resume copilot that helps you:

  • paste your existing resume + a job description,

  • get a tailored version in under a minute,

  • tighten bullets into impact-focused lines (without inventing facts),

  • highlight missing keywords so you’re less likely to get filtered out by ATS.

The idea is not to replace your judgment, but to remove the repetitive parts of “OK, now rewrite this again for this JD”.

Right now I’m testing the core UX and would love to hear from you:

  • Do you keep one master resume or adapt it for every application?

  • What’s the most annoying part of updating your resume today?

  • Would a “resume copilot” like this actually save you time, or just add another step?

Any feedback or strong opinions are super welcome — trying to build something that’s actually useful, not just another AI toy 🙏
