I got tired of sending PDFs into a black hole, so I built a simple tracking MVP. Tear it apart.

I run an event agency and a marketing agency. We send a lot of PDFs. Proposals, decks, brochures, resumes. Once they’re sent, it’s radio silence. No idea if they were opened, skimmed, or ignored.

DocSend exists, but it’s expensive and forces you into a sales-heavy ecosystem I didn’t want. I just wanted basic signals without changing how I work.

So I built a small MVP: upload a PDF, share a link, see when it’s opened and what pages are viewed. That’s it. No CRM. No “sales platform.”

I’m not convinced yet if this is a real business or just solving my own pain. Posting here to get honest feedback:

Is this a real problem for you?

Is this too simple to matter?

Would you pay for something like this, or is DocSend “good enough”?

Brutal opinions welcome. Silence is worse.

Congrats on the launch, looks solid. How are you currently thinking about acquiring early users and gathering feedback?
