I've been building stuff ever since I know myself.
Building is just peaceful. It's silent, focused, self-improving and satisfying.
Then comes the time to promote. It's noisy, complicated - a war zone.
Can I not do marketing? No.
Can I do poor marketing? No.
I've tried
❌ hiring someone,
❌ getting for a marketing co-founder
❌ working with an agency
wasted my time and money.
Needless to say, i know folks who made it this way - but I just failed.
I guess what did not killed me (almost), made me start thinking.
I wanted a tool to takeover the marketing operations. And I don't mean partially - I mean extensively so "I can forget about marketing".
About a year ago, Evercopy became my full-time project which leverages AI to plan, execute and optimize marketing operations.
I knew I wasn't the only one facing this issue but (thanks god!) we were a growing army loll
User base is growing 30% MoM and things that have worked for me are:
📣 launching a generous affiliate program
📣 reddit (yes it is still working)
📣 developer forums (looks like they were looking for a simple tool)
📣 events (surprisingly physical touch is still a thing)
Today the tool is still evolving, but already easing the load.
I will fight and win against my enemy (marketing lol) or fail trying!
Good luck building folks!

There's definitely a market for this kind of product.
It's becoming easier and easier to build and deploy something, so smaller teams are able to do the work of a larger one. Often it's a technical team that can build a great product, but the marketing lags behind.
I have that same dilemma with Shred Crew. Looking forward to checking out the free trial later today.
Completely agree!
I always thought of marketing as something overly complicated. I spent hours with marketing agencies to define the brand goals we had already set in the beginning - we would eventually get to the same point. So inefficient!
Doing it yourself also was not the answer, since I was easily feeling frustrated with the amount Do's and Don't which seemed to be very case-based. Like with coding, you'd know what you'd get for doing a certain thing, in marketing it feels 90% luck.
I truly think marketing is all about testing quickly - and AI should be able to do it (actually better than any human could do).
Anyways, I hope you like what you see!
I always appreciate any feedbacks from a non-marketer founder :)
Good luck building!
I should definitely try this for my new tool, I hate marketing. Landing page looks great.
This seems like a great tool. But I already have paid access to Chatgpt. Why use this instead?
Hey! Few reasons:
In short, Evercopy does marketing for you. From planning to creating assets, to scheduling to optimizing - both for organic and paid activities.
So it's aimed to make you forget about marketing unlike ChatGPT.
I appreciate you taking the time to respond. Best of luck!
Hey Alex. Always a good thing to solve your personal pain and help others along the way. May I invite you to list Evercopy in our directory?

Hi Ayo, thanks for the invite!!
Website shows not secure error. do you mind checking?
Hey Alex. You were right. Fixed now. Thanks a zillion!
This seems like a great tool to ease the burden of marketing for entrepreneurs and small teams. It's inspiring to see how Alex Ferxixo identified a common pain point and developed a solution using AI. Wishing them continued success!
Hey Alex, I feel your pain in every possible way. For good or bad my approach towards building new products is very similar. Your idea is great, I was thinking about something similar, because as mentor and entepreneur I have seen that almost every startup has a product and most of them fail because of lack of proper sales/marketing. I will deffintely try Evercopy and if it goes as expected, I will become its preacher.....Some feedback after the registration. A trial without entering your card and/or a free version with limited capabilities would be great (this is user perspective, I totaly understand the business perspective and approve it). Usually when my card is requested before even my registration is finished, I forget about testing the product.....Feedback 2: Kind of frustrating to be in the app and not able to just test the most interesting features unless you pay more. They might be great, but I don't want to pay for them unless I am sure they are for me.
Ivan, really appreciate your honest feedback!!
Really good (and bad of course) to meet a founder who went through the same, felt the same.
If you have 20 mins, I'd be more than glad to chat not just to demo but to get your burning needs in marketing. Also happy to whitelist your account for a week (which will not require credit card) so that you could try with confidence.
As I also mention in the post, the public version doesn't have the end to end automation abilities just yet. Those, I plan to publish in two weeks. But you could at least try the multimedia ad and banner generation.
Leaving this here in case you are interested to meet in person: https://calendly.com/deniz-at-evercopy/30mins
Cheers!
Thanks for the offer. I will be more than happy to talk with you. I just booked a meeting with for after two weeks. Hopefully the automation will be already there. As for the credit card, I already tested the platform. The solution that I use in cases when some service requires a credit card before login, is to use disposable cards. In this case, if I forget to cancel my account in time or it turns out that the service is a bad actor, I can destroy the card at any moment. Happy holidays, waiting to hear you in two weeks.
Will definitely take a look at this.
Slm Deniz, cool stuff.
Kudos to launching!
Let me give you some feedback that hopefully helps your product evolve.
My background is that I am leading a marketing and sales team.
When reading your post I find this intriguing but I don’t quite grasp what area in marketing evercopy is helpful.
Is it for ads? Social media? Content marketing?
The area and target group is unspecific which makes it hard to understand what problem you’re solving exactly.
I had to spend time on your website with a willingness to really understand what you’re doing exactly until I felt like I’m understanding it. As a marketer I know that most people won’t spend that time to figure it out :)
So, my unsolicited but humble advice that will hopefully help you is to focus on one of these areas that you’re doing right now and become really concrete about the problem and the niche that has the problem.
I hope this feedback helps! :)
"This product is quite intriguing! Plus, the landing page is refreshingly clean and easy to navigate. Kudos !"
Glad you liked! Kudos to all builders!
This is something I’ve been searching for a long time. Since I do all the work on my own and after going through agencies and all the things you mentioned it is a powerful assistant to have and create content for my project.
One thing I wanted to ask is whether it is possible to ‘discuss’ with the ai and clarify points so the content created really fit my message or my product. Since my product is a physical product based on my patent I find it challenging getting the right message through since it’s something new or disruptive product.
I would love to give it a try but I want to understand more before I try it so I could could get the most of it. I would really live to hear your answer since I desperately need this type of assistance.
great feedback!
We're building the chatbot functionality within the app for such fine tuning needs. a true marketing ally -- happy to showcase it on a call or giving you trial access. lmk!!
I read your article and your struggle with marketing with great interest. Like you, I am finding myself at odds with the demands of marketing, despite its undeniable importance in the business world. Your path to developing an artificial intelligence solution not only reflects a deep understanding of this common pain point, but also shows a remarkable spirit of innovation and self-confidence.
The growth of Evercopy and your approach to tackling marketing through AI is inspiring. It's a prime example of how technology can be leveraged to turn a challenge into an opportunity. I'm particularly intrigued by how you've managed to automate and optimize marketing operations, something that many of us in the entrepreneurial community strive to achieve.
Best of luck with your continued fight against marketing, and thanks for sharing your journey!
This is inspiring!
Especially the way you identify your niche because what is the reason for producing a product if you cant market it?
Success in your niche Alex Ferxixo
Hey Alex,
Your journey from the zen of building to the chaos of marketing totally resonates with me. It's a struggle we all know too well!
Kudos on creating Evercopy to tackle the marketing challenge with AI. Your honesty and the impressive 30% MoM growth are truly inspiring.
Excited to see Evercopy evolve and wishing you all the success in conquering the marketing game. Keep building, and thanks for sharing your story!
Cheers,
Parth
The honesty in your post is refreshing, and it's clear you're not just building a tool; you're crafting a solution to a common headache.
Love the mix of strategies that worked for you, especially the physical touch at events. In a world gone digital, those personal connections still pack a punch.
Wishing you ,all the success in conquering the marketing beast!
Yeah! You did a tremendous job creating it to make marketing tasks easier. It's really incredible how you used your knowledge and experience to develop a valuable tool mate
Thanks for your support Germerlo!
Nice idea. My issue is still with the AI-generated visuals - they look so clearly AI-generated, imo they lose credibility and get a 'spammy' feel instead.
10000% agreed!
This is exactly why I think we need an AI for ad generation which will work greatly with products and logos.
Worth to try!
It's really cool to see how Alex Ferxixo used technology to make marketing easier for entrepreneurs. It's great to see how innovation can solve everyday problems!
Good one
scratch your own itch is the way to go
Amen!
Great offer but one thing that can improve the tool by a lot is customer analysis tool which I made it and it is available for free.
The tool that I made can go tru thousands of topic that your potential customer might be interested on and then perform analysis on it to find one that best for your business. Here is a sample analysis which from this analysis you can start using AI Marketing management : SAMPLE CUSTOMER ANALYSIS.
I like the offerings you have. Marketing being such a complex industry with so many things to look after. How do you plan to reach businesses that believe in traditional approach to marketing like TV ads etc...?
Thanks for your comment!!!
I think tech builders don't really believe in traditional marketing anymore. It's much convenient to use the digital channels and data also supports that.
I'd say Evercopy should focus on the newest approaches always.
Very cool! How did you get your first users?
Email marketing still works!! Found lean teams on Linkedin, PH and builder communities.
Purely founder led sales is the way in the beginning!
Did you do it manually, or did you automate the cold outreach? In any case, I love your story!
I handpicked the leads - then engaged through Apollo sequences. Conversions are better when I do it semi-manually
IMPRESSIVE STUFF!!!
I’m in the middle of developing a SaaS platform for streamlined project management, focusing on AI-driven efficiency.
Loved Evercopy idea and where it is coming - just few questions:
In your experience, how steep is the learning curve for businesses to effectively integrate Evercopy into their existing marketing workflows? Do you provide training or support to help users get the most out of AI-driven marketing?
Marketing trends are constantly evolving. How does Evercopy stay current with these changes? Is there a mechanism for the AI to learn and adapt from ongoing marketing campaigns and user feedback?
ROI Measurement: What methods do you use to demonstrate the ROI of using an AI-driven marketing tool like Evercopy? How do you quantify the benefits to potential users who might be skeptical about AI's effectiveness in marketing?
These are some aspects I'm curious about. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and experiences.
Stay safe!
Hey Eric, glad to see you are also feeling it (sorry not sorry lol)
On #1 -- The larger the client gets, the more attention and training they require. We have recently onboarded a major pharmaceutical company who is not our target customer but still important - having a wast dataset and - of course- brand value.
However, I would never complain since even they took max 2 weeks to complete so I guess the adaptation is faster than anticipated.
On #2 -- Short answer: a combination of machine learning algorithms and human oversight. Our AI is trained on a diverse dataset that includes current marketing campaigns across various industries. It's also updated regularly with new data to ensure it understands the latest trends. Additionally, we have a team of marketing experts who review AI recommendations and strategies, ensuring that they are not only data-driven but also align with the latest industry best practices.
On #3 -- We actually stand on a lucky spot compared to other marketing tools since everything is built on data. Customers want to see conversion increasing. It's either yes and no.
Honestly I'm still exploring. Dunno where it will go :)
Hey Alex! First of all - THANK YOU FOR DOING THIS 🤣🤣🤣🤣
As someone knee-deep in developing a SaaS for AI in fashion design, your story really hits home. We're trying to blend AI with creative design, offering a tool that predicts and generates fashion trends.
Our marketing strategy is heavily reliant on direct engagement with our target audience. We’ve been leveraging LinkedIn groups and Twitter threads, aiming to start conversations with fashion professionals and tech enthusiasts alike. It's all about demonstrating the practical applications of our tool in the real-world fashion industry, without overhyping the tech.
Your approach with Evercopy, using AI to automate and streamline the marketing process, is quite an inspiration. It's a solid reminder of the potential of AI in various aspects of business, not just in product development but also in handling complex operations like marketing.
It's fascinating to see different ways tech can solve traditional problems. Best of luck with Evercopy, and looking forward to seeing how it evolves.
LFG!!!
As a solo developer who recently launched a productivity app, your journey really resonates with me, albeit from a different angle.
For me, the biggest game-changer wasn't finding a new tool or strategy, but a shift in mindset about what marketing actually means. Initially, I saw marketing as a necessary evil - something to do after the 'real work' of building was done. But then, I started seeing it as part of the creative process itself. I began sharing the development journey, the ups and downs, through a weekly newsletter. It wasn't polished or salesy, just real talk about the challenges and small wins. This authenticity, I found, resonated more with my audience than any ad campaign could.
Your AI-driven solution with Evercopy is intriguing and honestly, pretty bold. It's a stark contrast to my hands-on, gritty approach to marketing, and it's got me thinking about the possibilities of leveraging AI in my own operations. The tech world is vast, and it's fascinating how different paths can lead to success.
I'm curious to see how Evercopy evolves and shapes the marketing landscape for indie hackers like us. Stories like yours are a reminder that there's always room to experiment and find your own way.
Best of luck with your future endeavors!
Cheers!
Hey Alex, congrats on your journey!!!
It's pretty neat to see someone else who's been in the trenches of startup marketing. I've been there too, and it's no joke.
I co-founded a little app a few years back, aimed at helping freelancers manage invoices. Building it? A blast. Marketing? Not so much. We didn't have the budget for a big marketing team, so we had to get creative. We ended up leaning heavily on content - not just blog posts, but videos, infographics, you name it. The goal was to make stuff that freelancers would find genuinely useful, not just blatant plugs for our app.
What surprised us was how much our audience grew from just word-of-mouth. Freelancers would share our content, and suddenly we had this organic growth we hadn't even planned for.
Reading about your AI-driven approach with Evercopy is super interesting. It's a whole different angle to the one we took, and it sounds like it's paying off for you. Just goes to show there's more than one way to tackle this beast.
Keep fighting the good fight in the marketing world. It's innovators like you who keep the rest of us on our toes.
All the best!
