For years, I’ve been my own worst enemy. I’d get a "world-changing" idea at 2 AM, buy the domain, spend 48 hours coding the landing page, and then… nothing. The moment the initial hit of dopamine wore off, I’d get distracted by the next shiny object.
I realized I wasn't a bad developer; I was just a founder with zero direction. I was busy, but I wasn't moving.
I built FounderCoach because I needed a way to force myself to stay in the game. I needed a "Weekly Spine" to keep my eyes on the mission when things got boring.
How I’m finally actually shipping:
The 3-Task Rule: I stopped writing to-do lists that were 20 items long. Now, I pick 3 tasks on the Daily page and I don't move until they are done.
Connecting Habits to Money: I started tracking how my morning deep work actually correlated to my MRR goal. Seeing a 94% correlation makes it impossible to skip the work.
Simulating the End: When I feel like quitting, I run a simulation. Seeing that I have a 98% chance of hitting my goal if I just keep my current velocity is the only "motivation" I need.
This isn't just another SaaS tool. It’s the system I had to build to stop myself from failing for the 31st time. If you’re a solo founder who feels like you’re constantly starting but never finishing, this might be for you too.
