Every time I launch something, I run into the same problem:
Getting users is way harder than building the product.
I’ve tried posting on a few platforms, but most of the time it feels like:
Either no one sees it
Or it disappears instantly
I built a small platform called Buildfeed to experiment with instant posting (no approval), and I’ve managed to get around 40 users so far.
But I still feel stuck.
For those who’ve been through this:
👉 what actually worked for you early on?
Yeah, getting initial users is genuinely tough and often feels like shouting into the void. I actually know a couple of solo founders who've successfully navigated early user acquisition, and they'd probably be open to a quick chat if you'd like an intro.
Hi tried your directory. It's confusing for image upload. No hyperlinks. No profile page. Are you still building?
My username: sureshh
Thanks for checking it out, I really appreciate the feedback.
Just to clarify, image upload and profile pages are already available. That said, if they were hard to find, that is something I will improve.
I will also look into the hyperlinks point.
For reference:
– Images can be added via the “Add URL / Images” button on the post input
– Profile pages are accessible from the sidebar, or via the menu on mobile
I am still actively building, and feedback like this really helps shape the product.
It could be a good platform for solo builders like me. I wanted to build something similar and bought Solo-Builder.com, but Vibe Coding was not so generous to me.
Also, I’d be open to coding a tailored version for you based on what you had in mind for Solo-Builder.com
I understand. Would you be interested in purchasing Buildfeed?
What's your offer?
Hello, I have had some additional interest recently and would be open to offers around $900–$1,000. Happy to answer any questions if you have.
