I have a gif keyboard idea but I'm not sure if it's worth working on

I started building a gif keyboard for YouTube.

Basically, you can search a phrase and it will find the phrase in the top YouTube videos (top 1000 videos to start), then return it as a gif, with the phrase at the bottom of the gif.

It's like Frinkiac for YouTube.

It's a private alternative to Giphy (now that they've been acquired by Facebook) that focuses on word-based gifs rather than reactions.

It's just a fun project at the moment and a way for me to learn Go, but it would be very expensive to host so I'm not sure if I want to do anything with it!

What do you think? Pointless? Or something you might use?

Would it be replicable to other media platforms? Example: can the same keyboard be used for say insta or tik tok or whatsapp? If so - then i think there is value add here.

Yeah it would be! Maybe I'll make it and just see what happens. Thanks for your comment :)
