I have a landing page. Now what?

I recently made my landing page public. (Detail: It has a "Join the waitlist" CTA requiring a mobile number).

What are the recommended next steps to get people to the landing page in order to measure interest / conversion?

There are vehicles like paid ads, community outreach, etc. Are there any recommended next steps, blog posts, guides, wisdom, etc. that is advised after the "launch" of a landing page?

Thanks in advance

I recommend not using paid ads if you only have a landing page. From my experience, most customers that come from ads expect a fully fleshed out product, so it would be a waste to market to them unless it's something that requires crowdfunding like a kickstarter.

I mostly hang around product hunt, here, or on reddit and make valuable comments, occasionally interjecting with my landing page to not be spammy.

If you're about to launch in a month or less, you can post it to product hunt pre launch and gain a waitlist that way as well.

If you're curious, here is my project: https://www.indiehackers.com/product/evoke

It has no landing page yet, but through this method I've been able to get a good amount of people to my discord.

Thanks @RichardGao. Very helpful. Curious to hear a bit more about managing/growing a Discord community without a product. Any tips, advise, posts here would be greatly appreciated!

I think if you have a demo product, then growing a discord community is much easier. With what I'm developing, it's unfortunate the website has to come out the same day as the product, so I have to grow the discord without a landing page even.

However, you can build a small community that is fairly dedicated by doing what I mentioned above, posting relevant comments and including you discord server at the end.

The main thing I'd ask yourself is where does your audience hang out where they're in the right frame of mind. If you're targeting a niche interest, there might be a community where you could hang out and add value.

If they have physical places that they hang out (e.g. conferences), you might want to go to those and speak to them.

Wherever there is a good concentration of your target customers, you want to be too (note, as someone else has mentioned, that doesn't have to be on FB Ads but perhaps FB groups could be good).
