I have been in Show HN on the 8th place since yesterday without intention.

Yesterday I saw @emekaonu 's post about Reddit not showing on Google Analytics as Reddit traffic but direct, then I was thinking I haven't realized that si I tested it myself and he was right.

I posted on reddit.com/r/usefulwebsites and reddit.com/r/webapps the only one driving traffic was reddit.com/r/usefulwebsites I would say because in the other I the other one I did not saw activity regarding my post.

Then I thought, that I should post the same on HN. I had tried before to show the website on HN but I was unsuccessful, no upvotes nothing, nada.

So to my surprise, yesterday I saw that HN and Reddit were driving traffic.BUT it would not have been like this if I would just have posted this:

" I made a website for developers and digital designers " and the link.

Since then the post has been on 8th place and yesterday the HN drove 86 users and a couple of comments and Reddit 120
But this was nothing compared to today, It's 09:19 in the morning and I have 297 users and 170 is from YC.

This might not be huge traffic for some, but for my little website is a lot.
