I have been working on a side project called GiftMeAScent for a weeks now.

The GiftMeAScent project is something I wanted to do because I was looking for a way to keep track of my own perfume collection and share it with other people who like perfumes.

I could not find a place that focused on personal perfume collections rather than just reviews and databases so I made GiftMeAScent.

With GiftMeAScent you can do a lot of things such as:

• Showcase your perfume collection

• Build a list of perfumes you want

• Share the kinds of scents you like

• Create a profile for yourself

• Get perfume gifts from your friends and family

I made the GiftMeAScent project using Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS and Supabase.

One of the parts was making sure the pictures upload quickly and the app works well so I spent a lot of time making GiftMeAScent feel fast and work properly.

GiftMeAScent is still new. I would really like to hear what you think about it.
