I have been wondering about this for a while - so why not ask here.
I actually launched a side project about two months ago and have made 1500 USD since then (likely hitting 1K+ within the next month). While that sounds like a great start, it's a little different than most of the other projects here on Indie Hacker because it doesn't have actual users and therefore no MRR/ARR!
The money is all funding from people who like and support the service my project provides. Without going into too much detail, I wonder in general if anyone would be interested in buying a project with no users/accounts, but just a steady stream of money coming in.
