I have finally finished my first MVP, an entire web-app built entirely in Python featuring user authentication and more!

Hi everyone, I've been lurking around for a few months just getting experience, everyone is working on some fascinating stuff.

I'm happy to announce that I have finally finished my initial MVP and landing page for FundMatch https://www.fundmatch.dev

I invite everyone to check out the landing page first, give me some feedback, and then navigate themselves over to the actual app https://app.fundmatch.dev which is entirely built off Python (streamlit frontend, python backend). I can give premium status for the time being so users who are interested can use all the features.

In a nutshell, FundMatch is going to be a platform that will allow technical grant writers to use AI and LLMs to write their grants. Some core features will be:

  1. Abstract Generation (MVP, done)
Abstracts are critical in any funding proposal, they need to be done right and extract key information from a users background and join it together with the funding opportunity that they are trying to receive. The FundMatch Abstract Generation Tool on the MVP does exactly that. It allows users to upload documents pertaining to either their background (such as a CV or Resume) or their business that they are trying to retrieve funding for (example, upload some business documents like articles of incorporation or a page or two detailing what their business does). Next they can choose from internal funding opportunities or bring their own and upload the entire RFP package for the funding opportunity.

The AI will scan through these document, identify and extract key information, and join them together with the funding opportunity to generate an abstract.

  1. RFP Analyzer (to-do)
Upload an RFP package and ask questions against it, basically like talking to a chatbot whose knowledge base becomes the RFP package that you upload

  2. Shared Space for grant writers and grant seekers / applicants to communicate and upload data to share between one another (to-do)
One pain point of my ideal end-user is that the grant writers experience difficulty in the process of obtaining information from their client to actually begin to fill in the funding proposal. There is a lot of back and fourth communication that needs to take place and a lot of data that needs to be transferred back and fourth. For example, the grant writer may need access to some of their users financial information, and they have to communicate with the user to retrieve this perhaps over email. Their inbox can already get cluttered with lots of different stuff, so having some-form of a shared space where there is easy communication and uploading capabilities can increase efficiency and save time for both parties.

These are a few of the things that I will continue working on, whilst trying to get people to try out my app in the beta stage, I haven't really figured out a pricing strategy. I know it will be a month-month recurring payment, and looking at competitors they have priced it around 25 - 50 dollars a month, so I'm looking to price it around that, if not a little less.

Thanks for your guys' support and time, and I highly value any and all feedback, so please if you guys can take some time to check out the landing page and the app and critique it or just write a sentence or two about your overall thoughts that would be greatly appreciated!
