I have launched an ebook on Gumroad! Now what?

Last week I launched my first ebook on Gumroad: https://gumroad.com/l/MJAIt

It teaches how to write trading robots for the stock market. This is something that I have been doing as a hobby for many years now, and I figured some people might like to learn how to do that.

Launching the product seems like the easy part, but how should I go about letting people know that it exists? Are there specific platforms where you can share your ebook?

I have noticed that many people create mailing lists to share their products, but that seems even harder 😅

    what came to my mind:

    • reddits, facebook, linkedin groups
    • Twitter (if you have)
    • you can put away some free samples/insights and get some traction with reposts
    • create a product on IH and put the milestones
    • try to go where your audience is -> find some partnerships, collaborations, blogs, podcasts, where you can present your work.
    • think about other product to create bundle
    • be helpful for the community

    • Try publishing on leanpub.
    • create some content marketing to promote the book : video tutorial on youtube, medium tutorial

    People are not looking for ebook, people are looking to solve a problem. Think about what people have this problem you can help with and where they hang out online, then be creative and get their eyeballs :)
