I have made one hundred dollars on the internet

Jack Butcher said I must make one dollar on the internet, but guess what Jack, I have some news for you. I have bested your challenge by TEN THOUSAND PERCENT. That's right, I have made one hundred dollars on the information superhighway as of this morning. How do you like those apples, Butcher? Yeah, I thought so buddy.

Hey everybody you can all go home now because indie hackers is over because I have won it.

I like that advise. Seriously. You. Just. Need. To. Start.

Right behind you buddy at $98

It's magical, but it requires a lot of work.

Congrats Chris! There's no better validation than people actually paying you. You're doing something right.

The next step is to see if you can strike up some 1 on 1 conversations with your customers to find out what they like and dislike. Once you close that loop it'll be clearer what to work on next and how to improve your conversion rate.

Nice! What is the tool your screenshot is from? Which one of your many ventures did you manage to monetise?

I use a command line tool called byzanz-record to record gifs, and gifsicle and gimp to edit them. Usually I don't bother editing, instead opting to record 10s of gifs and pick the best one. Two of my games related products have made a handful of sales each so far: 1. Roguelike Browser Boilerplate 2. Asterogue. Thanks for your interest!

Asterogue took me 1.5 months of part time coding to make. So far it has generated $112 USD from Windows sales and $92 USD from Android sales. So a couple of hundred dollars for approximately 3 weeks of full time equivalent work.

It's definitely itch.io but the product is essentially a template to help game developers make their own roguelike.

    Congratulations Chris!
