I have no idea why Web3 is so overrated

Friends, before anyone attacks, let me say that I developed web3, web2, and mobile applications. And lost a lot of money in the recent #cryptocrash.

While developing mobile applications in 2010, I remember many things I read on the internet promoting the idea; In 10 years there will be no web applications.

It's been 12 years and the web is still going strong and growing.

What I want to point out is that the change is not as fast as we expected.

I believe in the underlying technology which powers smart contracts, NFTs, or blockchains - but we shouldn't exaggerate and spend our life savings on it.

On the other hand, we underestimate the power of governments and exaggerate the change brought about by invention. We should never forget, that all this technology may crash dramatically.

Let me know WDYT?
