I jumped on the AI train - Letters AI

I finally jumped on the AI train and built a product using GPT.

I needed to write a letter to my neighbor and ask them to stop using my driveway as an ingress/egress, but I wasn't sure how to word it. I had access to the new ChatGPT, so naturally, I used it to create the letter.

Then, I spun up a quick app that allows others to do the same thing for their letter-writing needs: https://lettersai.com.

Let me know what you think.

Congrats for the launch , may I ask you how did you create the app using chatgpt ? Any tutorials to follow

Check this repo out, no from me but I guess it could help :)

How are you using ChatGPT? Headless Chrome?

Would love to implement it in my AI-train inspired product, https://codewp.ai :)

    Congrats @parkerage !

You probably ship it in a short period of time but the design looks brilliant and lean.

Congrats on your launch! I've done the same for copyscouts.com but targeted at content writing, i hope you go far and will be purchasing to show my support!

There is a definite trend for AI-as-an-Author (AaaA? lol) these days, and this seems like a pretty fun idea to work on! As far as feedback, I'd love to check out what this can do for me, and what value it can add for me. But, I can't seem to find good examples of what your app is capable of. I would believe that after inputting my info and needs, a brief excerpt of the output as a preview would help me pull the trigger on the $5 cost. An example of this is basically any paywalled news site, where you get the first several sentences to entice you to pay to read more. After I engage with your form and am shown a short snippet of what it provided, I feel like I would be much more liable to pay (the "I made it this far, so why not?" factor).

To me, this looks like you are testing your market fit and the current fee is a cool alternative way to monetize early without offering a LTD. Looking forward to seeing how this progresses!

You should show me some examples before asking for money. Seems like a nice idea if you could sell it to the interested people. I think you will have to develop some strategic partnerships with the right companies.

Why don't others just use the ChatGPT? Not all have access to it?

    1. 1

The product will be marketed towards businesses outside of the tech industry that typically don't know anything about ChatGPT or OpenAI in general.

Example: this app has the ability to create cease and desist letters with precise details and personalization. An Attorney's office would save time & money by having this app generate a letter that is 90% complete. That Attorney doesn't know to gain access to GPT and run it through the OpenAI playground though.

Great idea. How did you know how to price it?

    1. 1

Thanks! The pricing is just arbitrary right now. Basically, it's how much I would pay for a letter. In the future, I think I'll price certain letters at different prices.

For example, letters that an Attorney might need (cease and desist letter) would cost more than an apology letter that a consumer might want to create.
