I'm excited to share that my new education endeavor, How the Web Works, just landed its first paying customer!

This revenue is from a Substack subscriber I got yesterday. I'm currently running a series on Substack teaching about how the web works. My plan is to continue paywalling content as a build out a course of sorts there, and then turn that content into an actual online course that I can sell subscriptions to.
I'm excited to continue offering really high quality content that people continue to want to pay for.
If you'd like to follow my journey, check out the How the Web Works Indie Hackers profile here.
Thanks!
I'm still in awe that people pay for Substack/Beehiiv newsletters.
Congrats on your first sale!
Brilliant! Best feeling the world and an important milestone
It is indeed!
Way to go, Nick! Your first customer must have been such a thrill! I remember feeling the same way when I got my first client. :)
Thank you Geralda!
What a feeling when that happens! Keep it up :)
Hurray! Congratulations 🎉. Keep it up! I've been trying to get my first paying customer for while, but i still haven't made it there yet.
Congratulations 🎉
Amazing 🤩
Always feels good when you get your first users to care enough to pay for one of your creations, congrats!
I remember working on something similar around Cloud computing a while ago (greeeg/redefinedcloud on GitHub): explaining something makes your own understanding of the topic always better :)
