I just launched At 'Em — a dead-simple daily briefing app I built to fix my chaotic mornings

Hi Fellow IndieHackers,

I'm Travis — entrepreneur, husband, and dad of 3 kids under 5. My mornings were chaos. Checking calendar, weather, and to-do list across different apps while kids are screaming and I'm just trying to get everyone out the door.
I couldn't find an app that pulled it all together, so I built one.

At 'Em shows your daily schedule, weather, and tasks in one screen. No account required, no data collected — it just connects to your existing calendar and location.

The key feature for me: a daily briefing notification at 6:45am. Before I'm even dressed, I know my schedule, the forecast, and how to dress the kids. It's genuinely streamlined my mornings.

Available now on iOS — Android coming soon.

Happy to answer questions about the build or the journey. Also curious — what features would make this useful for your mornings?

    Hi Travis,

Came across At 'Em today - it's genuinely a great idea and hits the spot - no need to check and sync reminders, google calendar, calendar app. The product is there, but it seems getting consistent momentum is still messy. I can relate to that - hard. My own company struggled with this a lot, and being a solo founder juggling everything ain't easy.

I'm working with early stage founders on short sprints, focused on execution.
Basically help bring structure to what actually gets done week to week - if you're considering actually pushing it out to the world.

If that's relevant - happy to speak with you, and learn more about what you have in mind.

"Travis, a 6:45 am briefing that tells you exactly how to dress the kids based on the weather is such a practical 'pain point' solution—love the focus on streamlining mornings rather than adding more digital noise. Since you just launched and are looking for that early user feedback, there’s a competition where you can submit this—entry is $19 and winner gets a Tokyo trip. Prize pool just opened at $0. Your odds are the best right now. Getting At-em in front of a new audience could really help sharpen those 'must-have' features!"

Love the origin story — the best products always come from genuine personal pain and "I couldn't find it so I built it" is the most honest validation you can get.

The 6:45am briefing notification is a smart anchor feature. Having one specific moment where the app delivers clear value is much stronger than a general "dashboard" pitch. People remember the notification, not the app.

Curious — how are you thinking about distribution? With no account required and no data collected you have a strong privacy angle that could resonate well on communities like Hacker News or privacy-focused subreddits. Have you tried those channels yet?

Congrats on shipping it — three kids under 5 and still building is impressive on its own.

Distribution is definitely something I'm struggling with and know very little about. That's why I've come here and a couple of other forums or sites- to learn more about that and make more connections. Some subreddits are definitely targets. I hadn't made it to Hackers News yet. Thanks for the recommendation.
Also - totally agree about the notification being the anchor feature. The app is almost pointless if the user doesn't allow the daily notification.
