I’m a solo founder and just launched BrightShot — a tool that uses AI to transform ordinary room photos into clean, stylish spaces in seconds.
You upload a messy, dark, or empty room → and get back a beautiful image that’s decluttered, relit, furnished, and restyled.
🧠 Why I built this
I’ve always been obsessed with interior design, but not everyone has the time, money, or skills to make their space look amazing. I thought: what if AI could do 80% of the work visually — instantly?
That small idea turned into a big side project. I spent months:
Learning image-to-image models (and fighting weird edge cases 😅)
Building a UI that felt aesthetic and fast
I finally shipped v1 last week.

Nice job, I’ve been working on a similar project (SnapNStage.com), but have seen issues with the consistency of the OpenAI API. If I upload an image through the interface it work better, but through the API it just struggles to create the design I tell it to do. My app was targeted at Realtors and home owners looking for staging ideas based on pictures. You take photo’s using your phone, upload, tell it you design for the staging and submit. Good luck.
The ability to generate interior design ideas based on uploaded photos is a very helpful tool. It's not only super helpful for personal home makeovers, but also opens up huge opportunities for professionals and entrepreneurs in real estate, renovation, and e-commerce. The potential to create customized, high-quality visualizations so quickly could easily be turned into a profitable service. Definitely a tool with serious business potential!
