I Just Launched My Social Media Content Planner – Feedback Welcome!

After juggling multiple social media accounts for clients and my own business, I kept getting lost in spreadsheets, notes apps, and sticky notes (πŸ˜…).

So, I built a simple but powerful Social Media Content Planner in Excel to help creators, freelancers, and small businesses plan, track, and stay consistent with their content across platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and more.

🧠 What it does:

  • Plan content for the entire week/month by platform

  • Track post status (idea β†’ draft β†’ scheduled β†’ posted)

  • Built-in content calendar and hashtags tracker

  • Analytics tracker for engagement and growth

  • Works in Excel & Google Sheets (no fancy software needed)

πŸ’‘ Who it's for:

  • Solopreneurs trying to stay consistent

  • Small businesses without marketing teams

  • Freelancers managing multiple clients

  • Content creators who love clean structure

πŸ’° One-time purchase, no subscriptions.

I’d love any feedback on:

  • Is it easy to understand?

  • Is the price point fair?

  • Any missing features you'd expect?

πŸ™ Also open to collabs or affiliate partnerships if you help creators/brands!

Would appreciate your thoughts and support. Thanks so much!

I'm trying to learn how others approach this kind of product, so this is more of a curiosity than criticism. Why did you choose a spreadsheet format for this planner? I always imagined creators would prefer something more visual (like a board or timeline), especially if they're selling content. But maybe I'm missing something β€” would love to understand your thinking here.

That's a very cool concept, actually!

This is a good one and it's straight foward

This is super helpful! I’ve tried juggling content without a system and it gets messy fast. Love how simple and structured this is β€” perfect for staying consistent πŸ™Œ

I can't comment on the pricing as that depends on what others are doing in the market. The idea is good. I suggest providing more details and images for the end user to see, which will help create a visual appeal.

I agree with the idea that many paid planners and content planning assistants on the market are essentially the same. In my personal opinion, most of them don't bring real value β€” either because they offer generic templates or rely on AI tools that ignore key context, current trends, or critical strategic factors when generating content plans.

If the product claims to help with content planning, it should go beyond surface-level automation and actually reflect what’s working now in specific niches. Otherwise, it ends up being just another repackaged tool with no real impact.

Hi, it's a very interesting idea, but I recommend that you try to show more images of the calendar, I know that you don't want to give away too much proprietary imaging, and if it is possible making the currency automatically switch based on where the client is.
