I just launched Userbooster on ProductHunt!

Just launched UserBooster to Product Hunt. Any feedback or support is HIGHLY appreciated 🙏 🙏

I've been postponed this launch for so long! For some reason, I have always been afraid of launching there (way more than HackerNews or Reddit).
ProductHunt requires a lot of preparation, I always procrastinated it…

Here are a few tips I learned preparing my launch on PH:

  1. If you're like me and procrastinate too much, make yourself publicly accountable. That's what I did for this launch, I tweeted that I'm gonna launch within 7 days.

  2. Find someone to hunt you. Again, that's another way to make yourself accountable - and if you find a good hunter it will increase your reach!

  3. Don't overthink it! Now that I've finished the whole preparation process I can tell that it's not that much of work. All you need is a logo, some screenshots and a nice piece of content. It's totally doable in a week!

  4. Build an audience before your launch, it can be on Twitter, a mailing list or an upcoming page on ProductHunt. Having 1000+ people to contact seems to be a good number!

Hi, @xavier! And thanks for your tips.

There are a lot of tips on how to launch on PH that says getting a good hunter is not (that) important anymore. Based on your experience, is this wrong?

Congrats on a great launch - glad to hear that it went well for you!

      Hey!

I read that too yes, then I ask some serious makers and they all told me that it's still important. And if you check the #1 of each day you'll see that most of them are hunted by BIG hunters with thousands of followers.

So I'd say find a hunter, he'll give you some tips as he's used to PH launches and he'll help increase your reach (if not on PH, maybe on Twitter or any other platform)
