I just launched with 0 users. Here's the exact problem that made me build it anyway.
I trade on prediction markets — Polymarket and Opinion.
Both platforms list many of the same events. They don't always price them the same way.
That gap is the opportunity.
My workflow to find it looked like this:
→ Open Polymarket
→ Find a market
→ Open Opinion in a new tab
→ Search for the same event
→ Compare prices manually
→ Do the math
→ Gap already closed
Every single time. The spread disappears while you're still checking.
I got frustrated enough to build a fix.
Opipoly pulls live prices from both venues, calculates the spread for every overlapping market, and ranks them by size. One click takes you to the exact market on either exchange.
I shipped v1 this week. It's rough:
→ 8 markets tracked (should be 80+)
→ UI is basic
→ No filters yet
→ 0 users
But the live feed works. The spreads are real. And I'm already using it myself every day.
That's enough to start.
What I want to figure out next:
→ Which markets to prioritize adding
→ Whether anyone else has this problem or if I'm just weird
→ How to get the first 10 users who aren't me
