I just released my project to practice speaking foreign languages

The idea has come to me last year when I had a big frustration with finding a partner to practice my English. I met a lot of spammers and trolls on other platforms and I solved to create myself product with my vision on a solution to this problem.

About me:
I’m a Software Engineer from Moscow who studies English and German languages.

My path:
I checked my theory on my friends and acquaintances using advice from a good book "The Mom Test" and I'm on 100% decided to develop this platform.

I’ve been doing this project since March 2019, the main struggles were to deep dive into frontend and backend technologies (I’m an Android developer). I started doing my project and in the parallel study the new tech stack for me the such as Javascript, nodeJS, reactJS.

To be honest, I had a lot of pauses and difficulties but I didn't throw this project because I have been solving my own problem I do this project primarily for myself.

About Linguaspeak ( 😅 plz don't skip it )

In order to practice you can create the new thread with the following language and levels or just join an existing one.

Linguaspeak is going to solve the problems:

• being free

there are no any payments you can use linguaspeak absolutely for free

• being without spammers and trolls

I created the rating system where: Every user has a rating " Every user can rate or complain on others in the same thread * By creation thread, you can set the minimum user rating for entry. It means users with a bad rating don't have the ability to join your thread.

• having the smart recommendation system for a conversation

there will not be some simple dialogs like "Hi", "How are you, this step is in the process now 🤖

Currently, I don't have a bunch of users on Linguaspeak except my friends. And I have never been doing some marketing stuff on my released project before.

My next step:

• finish "having the smart recommendation system for a conversation"

• Deep dive into marketing, understand how to involve users into Linguaspeak. I totally tech guy it'll be an interesting experience

I spent a lot of time and effort and I’m so excited to get some feedback or new user on my platform 😊
