TL;DR - I sold an app through MicroAcquire for $20K. The buyer, Andrew (the founder of MicroAcquire), and I are going to do a fireside chat next Thursday to talk about the experience and answer any questions live! A few weeks ago, I sold Reporty for $20,000, and I realized that not many people talk about their MicroAcquire experience with the actual buyer sitting next to them. So, I thought, "let me tweet at both Leibel (the buyer) and Andrew (the founder of MicroAcquire) and see if they would be down for a fireside chat to be fully transparent about everything".
The tweet blew up: https://twitter.com/chptung/status/1392221246260088832
Leibel, Andrew, and I agreed on a time, and now we're going to all meet up virtually next Thursday at 5pm pacific to open the curtain behind the whole experience. A few questions we'll answer:
How do you create and value a SaaS business for an acquisition?
How do you go about finding a buyer for a SaaS business you built?
How do you determine if a SaaS business is priced properly and worth acquiring?
Once you find the right business partner, how do you execute the acquisition so that the buyer and seller are both protected?
If you want to join us, get your tickets here and ask us any questions live! https://www.eventhome.io/e/juJOol
Also, if you have questions for just me (the builder and seller), I'm happy to answer them here as a pre-AMA!
