I kept getting stuck at the idea stage—so I built a system to fix it

For a while, I kept running into the same problem.

I’d sit down to start something new—and get stuck almost immediately.

Too many ideas.
No clear way to evaluate them.
No confidence that anything was actually worth building.

I tried brainstorming, saving prompts, even using AI—but it still felt messy and inconsistent.

Eventually, I realized the issue wasn’t effort—it was structure.

So I built a simple system for myself to make this stage faster and more decisive.

It turned into what I now call the Idea Engine Kit—a set of structured prompts that take me from:

“I don’t know what to sell” → to a validated niche, product idea, and lead magnet… usually in an afternoon.

It’s built around three steps:

• Finding a niche with actual potential (based on demand, competition, and my strengths)

• Stress-testing the idea with clearer validation and pricing logic

• Turning it into a lead magnet that’s designed to attract the right audience

The biggest difference is that it removes a lot of the guesswork from the front end.

I’ve also been experimenting with turning the outputs into simple tools using Blink.new, which makes the jump from idea → something usable much faster.

Still early, but it’s been a much smoother way to start.
