I killed my newsletter. What a feeling.

Well, yesterday it was enough, I closed my newsletter, The Unicorns Feed.. It was time to do so.

This is how it looked:

Have a good day!

Hey, I've been debating the same. Killing off my newsletter. I lost the "umf" to keep going with it, and other ventures have taken my time and attention. This serves as a good reminder. Thanks for sharing.

I know how it feels but, if you did it, it's the right thing. Best wishes for your new projects.

In a way it's the same energy you have when starting a new project.

Thats funny because I just killed my product Rototer a few days ago. My software company is doing pretty bad with very few signups.

That’s too bad Michael! Why not list it in duuce?

I had this fear before starting BeeTrendy - thankfully though it's on automation and I don't have to be creating content for it, so I'm safe for a while.

I hope I don't ever have to do this. All the best for whatever you do next!

@orliesaurus I'm actually working on a marketplace for Creator Businesses or Assets. Would you be interested in listing your YouTube channel?

Lets talk, doubt anyone would want it, DM on twitter

did you consider merging it with someone else's newsletter or letting someone else take it over - maybe even for a few $? This kind of triggered an idea in me because I have built things that I let go that were of value - we need a "scap yard" like this: https://kern.al/idea/a-market-research-and-audience-scrap-yard
would love two upvotes on Kern.al to see what that crowd thinks of the idea...

i also had it on sale, no one was interested. I sent my last email, 4 asked, and I already deleted it all.

thats too bad. I'm surprised - did you offer it jsut to the member of the newsletter or beyond that?

        1. 1

No i havnt even offered it...I had on a place where you sale newsletters. from 1600 subs 200 were opening rest nothing,

On my las email i ddi said it was for sale.

Understand! The "handcuffed" feeling is why I'm hesitant to START a newsletter, blog, or YouTube channel. These sound great on the surface, but not sure I want the obligation, and I NEVER want to be accused of rambling to fill space when I really have nothing to say. Thanks so much for posting this.

yeah, that's the reason, I mean I am not a writer and as you said, I do not have nothing to say eihter....so...why do it.
