I launched my first product, Statsignal. So, what's next?

Hi everybody.

I'm a full-stack software developer, web designer, and DevOps engineer. I've been freelancing for many years, and currently, I'm developing and bootstrapping some SaaS and other open-source products. This community is the best place to share my experiences and get feedback.

The Product: Statsignal

Statsignal

This week I launched my first product Statsignal, a SaaS tool for monitoring websites or servers and publishing a status page. I developed it in collaboration with my brother.

Why?

We developed this because I, as a Software Developer, needed a similar solution for other products, but the solutions available were either expensive, complicated, or had confusing user interfaces.

So, we have focused on creating a simple, effective, and beautiful solution where the user only needs the website or server URL to start monitoring and, with a few clicks, publish a status page. That in addition to other features like grouping, live updates, teams.

Getting Feedback

We have not launched this on Product Hunt or Hacker News yet. We would like first to get feedback here.

Pay-as-you-go and Free

Users can start monitoring with Statsignal for free with 5-minute interval monitors. Statsignal has a pay-as-you-go pricing model, so users don't need to subscribe to any plan; they pay for what they need and can start or stop when they want.

How did we develop?

We've developed it using Go, Redis, PostgresSQL on the backend, and React on the front end. We've not used any UI React library; instead, we've created our UI toolkit to fit precisely our design and requirements. All screens were first designed in Figma. For the DevOps part, we are using Drone, Ansible, Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes.

What's next?

Now we are starting the stage that we think is more difficult, which is getting users and traction. We think we should start this phase by getting feedback here.

Our next step will be to get users, grow, and extend our solution. So we already have a roadmap with useful features.

Thank you

We appreciate any feedback, and if you want to know more about our design and development process or anything else, or maybe you want to exchange feedback with your product, please, let me know.
