I launched Quillify - an AI text humanizer + APA 7 Word export for students. Here's why I built it.

My friends kept asking me the same question: "Why does my essay keep getting flagged even after I rewrote it?"

The answer was always the same pattern — uniform sentence length, words like "delve" and "multifaceted", no contractions, passive voice everywhere. Single-pass humanizer tools weren't catching it all.

So I built Quillify (quillify.io). It runs 3 passes using Claude Haiku → Sonnet → Sonnet to rewrite text so it actually sounds like a real student wrote it at 11pm. Varied sentence length, natural hedging, contractions, student voice — the things detectors actually look for.

The part I'm most proud of: the APA 7 Word export. You paste your essay, click one button, and download a properly formatted .docx — Times New Roman 12pt, double-spaced, 1" margins, hanging indent references, References section starting on a new page. Most tools just give you plain text and make you format it yourself.

Free tier is 2,000 words/month. Paid plan is CA$19/month.

Launched 3 days ago. Still figuring out distribution. If you know any students, I'd genuinely appreciate a share.

Would love any feedback — what's missing, what's confusing, what would make you pay for it.
