I launched RelaxingMusic : An Ad-free Music Experience for Indie Hackers

Do you play music in the background while working on your projects? I do. That's why I launched https://relaxingmusic.fm

I launched it today - and sharing about it here for the first time.

It's 100% free and I'm going to add more tracks in coming days. It's super simple, just click play and start working.

Nice and clean. The honest challenge: free background music is an ocean, Spotify, a hundred YouTube lofi channels, Lofi.co, Brain.fm. "Free and ad-free" doesn't separate you from any of them, most are already free to leave playing.

Your only real edge is the part of your title you might treat as throwaway: for indie hackers. Not the music, the identity. "The station indie hackers work to," maybe a live count of how many of us are working right now. That's something Spotify structurally can't be. The community IS the differentiation; the music is the excuse to gather.

What makes your tracks better for coding than just opening a lofi playlist?
