I’m a dev, not a designer. So I used Excalidraw. ✏️

I spent today mapping out the UI screens for Criene.

I tried opening Figma, but honestly? I have zero design experience. I got lost in auto-layouts and pixel perfection.

So I closed it and opened Excalidraw.

Within 2 hours, I had the entire user flow sketched out. It’s low-fidelity, it looks like a hand-drawn mess, but the logic is solid.

It’s tempting to start coding immediately now that the sketches are done.

But I’m stopping.

Tomorrow is strictly for study. I’m going to deep-dive into React Native architecture patterns before I type npx create-expo-app.

I might not be a UI wizard, but I want the code to be scalable, fast, and reliable.

Scrappy designs. Solid code. That's the plan.
