I’m building a PushUp Club - do pushups, make friends and have fun.

I’m working on PushUp Club, a simple community-based pushup challenge.

You choose a monthly challenge like 500, 1000, 1500 or 2000 pushups and get a daily goal. You can do it alone or find people nearby to do pushups with at a park, gym or open space.

The goal isn’t just to get fit. It’s to meet like-minded people, make friends, stay active and have fun together.

I’m currently building the first version and putting together a waitlist. Would love to hear what you think!

💪 The UI looks great, too. I’d love to see a video-call or conference feature that automatically tracks each participant’s face and counts a rep when they move far enough away from the camera. Smartwatch and heart-rate tracking could be valuable add-ons later, although likely with less immediate impact. Selling affordable, high-quality push-up handles could also be an easy product to test, particularly if you can ship globally. One small point: consider using a branded email address in the footer. If cost is the constraint and you have already exhausted the free Gmail options, I find Proton is a good free alternative.

This is a really fun idea. I like that it’s not just about hitting a pushup goal, but also about meeting people and staying motivated together. The nearby meetup aspect could make it much more engaging than a typical fitness tracker. I’d definitely be interested in seeing how the community grows.

Fun concept — how's the landing page holding up for conversions so far? Sometimes a fitness/social app like this lives or dies on whether the page actually sells the "make friends" part, not just the pushups.

doing pushup alone is boring and it hard to keep motivated. a community is a great solution. i am joining the club.
