I kept failing at paper bullet journaling.
Not because the method was bad, but because my real schedule already lived in Google Calendar.
Meetings, appointments, deadlines, routines — all the fixed commitments were already there.
So my journal became a second place where I had to copy calendar events manually. Around week 3, the copying stopped, and the journal died with it.
But I still wanted the useful parts of bullet journaling:
- daily logs
- signifiers
- migration
- weekly review
- seeing where my time actually went
So I’m building Velprium.
Velprium keeps Google Calendar as the source of truth, then adds a journal/review layer on top:
- add status, tags, and ratings to calendar events
- read your day as a Diary
- review your week/month
- see where your time went
- keep events, reflection, and review in the same timeline
It’s not trying to replace the tactile or creative side of paper bullet journaling.
It’s for people whose calendar and journal keep living in two separate places.
I’m currently looking for early beta users.
Best fit:
- you use Google Calendar daily
- you care about weekly reviews, journaling, or time blocking
- you’ve tried Bullet Journal, Notion, Obsidian, Todoist, Sunsama, Akiflow, or similar tools
- you’re okay giving honest feedback on an early product
Beta testers will get 1 year of Pro free.
If this sounds relevant, you can apply here:
I’d also love feedback on the positioning:
Does “Time Bullet Journal on top of Google Calendar” make sense?
Or would you describe this differently?
