I’m building Affsignal, a tool that helps you discover which websites are promoting specific merchants, products, or competitors through affiliate links.
The idea came from noticing that affiliate marketing is everywhere, but the actual relationships are hard to see. You can find backlinks, traffic estimates, and ad data, but it’s much harder to answer: “Who is promoting this company?” or “Which affiliates are active in this niche?”
Affsignal crawls public web pages, detects affiliate links and tracking patterns, and turns them into a searchable map of merchants, affiliates, networks, categories, languages, and countries.
It’s still early, but the goal is simple: help affiliate managers, marketers, and founders understand who promotes whom, find relevant partners, and see how affiliate ecosystems are structured.
Would love feedback from anyone working with affiliate programs, partnerships, SEO, or competitive research.
If you need help with it, let me know!
The visibility problem you're describing is real — affiliate relationships shape a huge amount of buying decisions but nobody can see the map. The founders and affiliate managers who need this are already paying for Ahrefs and Semrush and still can't answer "who promotes my competitors."
At $0 the conversion problem isn't getting people to try it — it's getting the right people to try it. Affiliate managers and partnership teams are a specific buyer who needs to see their exact use case immediately or they move on.
What's your primary CTA right now — sign up, search a competitor, or something else?
