I’m building Geekore — a social geek profile for games, anime, movies, manga, TV shows and board games

Hey Indie Hackers,

I’m building Geekore, an early web app for people who love games, anime, manga, movies, TV shows and board games.

The main idea is simple: your geek taste is usually scattered everywhere. Games in one library, anime on another platform, movies in a watchlist, board games somewhere else.

Geekore brings everything into one social profile that you can share with friends.

You can collect what you love, rate it, show your taste, and post thoughts or screenshots about what you’re watching, playing or reading.

The goal is not just tracking. The fun part should be sharing your geek identity with your group of friends and discovering new things through each other’s taste.

Right now Geekore is still early and actively in development, but it is already usable.

I’d love feedback on three things:

  1. Is the “social geek profile” idea clear?
  2. Would you share a profile like this with your friends?
  3. What would make you come back after the first session?

Thanks — any honest feedback is really useful.
