I’m Oriol, and for the past 3 months I’ve been building OKstays.com — an AI-powered hotel search platform that finally filters hotels based on what travelers actually care about.
Why? Because every time I booked a hotel, I had to waste hours reading reviews just to figure out basic things like:
Is it quiet at night?
Does the AC actually work?
Is the bed any good?
It was tedious, slow, and still unreliable.
Instead, traditional hotel booking sites are filled with:
• Fake or inflated reviews
• Pay-to-play rankings
• Useless filters
• And no way to know what a place is really like
OKstays flips all that.
We use AI to analyze all available data (reviews, photos and videos across multiple platforms) to evaluate hotels across 5 real-world categories:

Thank you so much! I'm just trying to solve a problem I had every time I booked a hotel: I’d waste hours manually scanning reviews to figure out basic things like: Is it quiet or noisy at night? Is the AC good or just decorative?
It was tedious, slow, and still unreliable. OKstays aims to automate that with AI.
Hell I used to work the front desk at a hotel that fit that last description to a T. Online photos were so old, angled to visibly maximize space. A picture perfect illusion of beauty and perfection. Bwaahaahaa! The place was a dump! It's only saving grace was that most of the staff tried to make up for it with extremely friendly and accommodating service, mostly ME. I don't know how many times my boss reemed me for refunding the nights stay because the condition of the property was HORRIBLE. But I didn't care. I eventually got fired for it, but it was a bad situation for the guests. If this AI does what the developer says it does, it's a total game changer, and properties like that won't be able to sell a room on e-bay!! Lol 😀
Yeah, that’s exactly the kind of bullshit I’m trying to solve with OKstays, no more moments like “surprise, it’s a dump!”. Just real assessments, no filter.
