I’m building Pikant — an intimacy app for couples

Hey Indie Hackers!
I’ve been working on Pikant (pikant.app), an app that helps couples break routine and reconnect through playful, respectful intimacy challenges.

The idea came from a simple observation:
Most couples want to stay emotionally and physically close, but life gets busy — work, stress, routine. Intimacy becomes an afterthought, even in great relationships.

Pikant tries to fix that with:
- AI-guided challenges designed for real couples
- Personalized experiences based on preferences & comfort levels
- A fun, game-like format that lowers pressure and boosts curiosity
- Respectful, consent-focused content that’s App-Store friendly

Still early, but we’re getting encouraging feedback from couples who say Pikant helped them feel closer again — which is the best fuel to keep shipping.

Hi! I’ve been exploring Pikant, and you’ve built something genuinely unique in the intimacy/wellbeing space. The concept, personalization, and couple-centric approach are strong but with a few UX improvements, your conversion and retention could grow significantly.

As a UI/UX designer, here are the exact areas I can help you optimize:

    • Strengthen the hero message & CTA so users understand the emotional benefit instantly.

    • Introduce a simpler How-It-Works journey with visuals to reduce drop-off.

    • Improve visual hierarchy across sections for clearer scanning.

    • Add trust and social proof (testimonials, privacy visuals) to increase sign-ups.

    • Refine onboarding so the first 60 seconds feel hyper-personalized and engaging.

    • Make pricing and value clearer for better upgrade conversions.

I’d love to help you turn Pikant into a more intuitive, emotionally engaging, and conversion-optimized experience.
If you’re open to it, I can share a quick UX audit or redesign direction.

Would you like to see a preview?
