The problem I had:
I was using a planner for tasks, another app for money, a habit tracker, and random lists for “things I want to learn.” Nothing connected. I’d complete a workout or finish a book and get… zero sense of progress.
What SkillUp does:
One app where you plan your day, track finances, build habits, and level up 5 core skills:
Strength
Intellect
Creativity
Discipline
Financial literacy
Complete tasks → earn XP → level up. There’s a catalog of ~1,500 concrete actions (books, workouts, practices) so you’re not staring at an empty to-do list wondering what to do next.
What makes it different:
100% local — no account, no cloud, no subscription
No ads, no analytics — your data stays on your device
Actually useful modules, not just gamification: planner + calendar + Pomodoro, finance tracker with asset portfolio, habit streaks, weekly quests, reward shop
EN + RU — full bilingual UI and catalog
Windows + Android — backup/export lets you move data between devices manually
Tech: Flutter, solo-built, proprietary (not open source).
Where it is now:
v1.1.1 is live on GitHub Releases — Windows installer, portable ZIP, and Android APK.

What I’m working on next:
Better onboarding, smoother cross-device sync (still local-first), and getting proper code signing for Windows so SmartScreen stops yelling at new users.
Would love your take:
Does “life RPG” feel motivating or gimmicky to you?
Would you trust a productivity app that never touches a server?
What’s the one feature that would make you try it today?
Happy to answer questions and take brutal feedback. Thanks for reading 🙏
