I’m building TaskView — a task & project manager that stays out of your way

Hey! I’m Nikolai - a full-stack developer and the creator of TaskView, a lightweight task management system built for real work, not corporate bloat.

Why I’m building it:
I was tired of bloated tools trying to do everything - and ending up slow, confusing, and inefficient.
TaskView is fast, clean, and focused. It gives you just what you need to manage your tasks and collaborate with your team - nothing more, nothing less.

– Projects, task lists, and notes
– Tags and full task history
– Role-based access control (view, edit, manage)
– Analytics: completed tasks, progress by month, filtering
– Web & mobile versions
– Clean and simple interface

🔒 One thing I’m especially proud of is the permission system - it lets you safely invite others into your projects without worrying about accidental edits or deletions.
Honestly, sometimes I can’t believe I built all of this solo - from UI to backend to mobile.

⚙️ TaskView can also be self-hosted using a Docker image - perfect if you want full control over your data.

🛠️ This is just the beginning. TaskView will continue to grow and evolve - and I’m doing my best to listen to every bit of feedback along the way.
