I’m giving Airuncode users 2 free AI keys every week

I’ve been building Airuncode as a provider-independent AI coding runtime, and one problem kept coming up: trying a new AI coding tool usually means paying for another subscription or setting up API billing before you even know if you like it.

So I decided to experiment with something simpler.

Airuncode users can get 2 free AI keys every week and start building without paying upfront.

The goal is not to lock people into another subscription. Quite the opposite. Airuncode is designed so you can eventually use your own provider keys, switch between different models, or use local models.

The free keys are basically a way to remove the first barrier:

sign up → get access → build something.

I’m especially interested in seeing whether this actually helps developers try new models more freely instead of sticking with one provider because of setup or cost.

Airuncode is still early, so if you try it and something feels confusing, breaks, or just seems like a bad idea, tell me.

Would 2 free keys per week actually be useful to you, or would you prefer a different free-usage model?

The interesting test seems to be what happens after the free keys remove the initial friction. Do users actually try multiple providers/models and keep using Airuncode, or do they just consume the free keys and return to their existing coding tool?
