I still remember the last time I launched something I was proud of. I had worked on it for weeks, thought deeply about the problem, polished every feature, and crafted a clean, well-timed launch. Everything seemed to be in place. But when launch day came, I hit “Post”… and waited.
At first, it was excitement. That electric kind of hope you get when you believe you’ve built something people need.
Then came the silence.
A few likes. A couple of polite DMs. A handful of visits. But no insight. No clarity. Just confusion. Was it the product? The landing page? The timing? The market? That day blurred into the next, and before long I was second-guessing everything.
The painful part? I had users. People were already in the system. They just weren’t talking. They weren’t sharing feedback, asking for features, or even complaining. And without that — I was flying blind. I didn’t need more analytics, I needed signal. I needed clarity. And I realized most founders around me were struggling with the same thing.
They weren’t failing because of bad ideas. They were failing because they were building in silence. Guessing instead of listening.
That’s when the idea for Droon was born — not from some eureka moment, but from exhaustion. From the frustration of knowing there were users out there… but no way to turn that quiet presence into meaningful direction.
So I flipped the script. I stopped focusing on getting more users — and started designing a way to activate the ones I already had.
Droon is being built as a thread-first, community-powered feedback system — but not just another community tool. It helps SaaS founders turn their user base into an intelligent feedback engine. It captures conversations in structured threads, uses AI to cluster feature requests, tracks sentiment shifts over time, and creates a public, discoverable space where your user insights and community conversations work together to make your product better.
And here’s the catch — I’m not building it until 100 real founders say “yes.” Not because I want artificial scarcity or FOMO, but because if Droon is about building based on signal, I want to build it that way too.
20 founders have joined the waitlist already — all of them people who’ve been through the same quiet post-launch fog and don’t want to repeat it.
So if you're building something and have real users — but you're still launching with guesswork — maybe it's time to turn that quiet base into something powerful.

And if you’ve ever felt that silence after a launch — I’d love to hear your story too.
