I made a bold move to show our SaaS 1800+ customers' data public & here's what happened next!

FormNX serves over 1800+ users, 3000+ Forms & 18000+ submissions.

All these customers are from different business segments, have different needs & different company sizes.

Last week, We took a bold step to make all these stats along with a details breakdown available on the landing page.

Why, How & what happened with it…read below to understand

What’s FormNX?

→ Simple no-code form builder
→ Create any type of form like Registration, Feedback, Events forms, Survey forms, Job application Forms, Consent Forms, Order Forms, Quizzes, Cost Calculation Forms & lot more.
→ Provides 1000+ ready-to-use templates.

What did we share publicly on the landing page?

✅ Total Registered Users
✅ Total Forms created
✅ Total Submissions
✅ Unique visits
✅ Designation-wise breakdown
✅ Department wise breakdown
✅ Company size-wise breakdown

Stats refreshes every 24 hours to reduce the database hit for every page load.

How are we collecting this data?

Once a user registers & verifies email, we show them an onboarding screen to fill in this information.

Why we did do so?

As a founder, I love providing customer support as it helps me to understand user use cases, steps where they’re stuck & improvements we can make.

Whenever we get pre-sale questions I often reply to emails ending with -

To let you know, We have 1000+ customers worldwide & many <USER BUSINESS> using it for <PURPOSE>. We’re pretty sure it will help you as well.

This one sentence does the magic 🪄

→ This builds instant trust with the customer
→ More customers can relate, as they find someone else from their industry using it.

So with this, I thought to make it public -

→ Hoping to improve conversion from Visitors to Registered users.
→ They can either use a free version or pay. The free version serves as our marketing flywheel as it has a “Build with FormNX” badge.
→ We see more conversions as it’s affordable compared to jot forms, typeform etc.

How is this impacting us?

  • We’re seeing an increase a signups (will track long-term impact)
  • More affiliates reaching us.
  • Increase competition?? (Maybe)

Let’s see how it goes!

PS: None of the user's sensitive data is shared.
