    Hi @rarestoma,

I really like the idea behind an editor for dashboard themes. If you can make it easy to use and integrated with multiple themes it could be a no brainier in terms of value received.

In terms of feedback, here are my two cents:

    • It seems it's still a long way until it matches with the value proposition you mentioned. As a user you are mostly limited to editing the content.
    • I would advise to have a visual of the components you drag/drop instead of the text cards. It would make it more enjoyable/quicker to use.
    • Maybe add restrictions to where a component can be dragged, instead of the + modals for sidebar/navbar
    • Allow user to edit items/data once the component is selected/dropped
    • Also I would go with loading the generated content in an iframe instead of editing the current page. That way if you want to use another theme at a later stage you can do so without changing the editor code too much.

Hope this helps. Coincidently enough I am also working on an online editor which I plan to release soon, but not for Dashboard themes, more to scratch my own itch.

Hi @cosminh! Thank you for your feedback, it is really helpful! If you have any demo for your application, please let me know!

        Glad I could help.
The product I'm working on is a TailwindCSS editor that I want to actively use on my future projects to build websites and landing pages faster.
It's currently very limited and I have no landing page yet, but you can check it out here and maybe register for the beta launch: https://app.windytails.com
Everything happens in your browser for now (except loading components), but I am working on adding the backend for it soon.
If you have any feedback about it I would love to hear it.

I checked now and it looks really good, the design of the builder is awesome. I like the fact that you can edit the text directly in the interface and many page builder that I saw doesn't have this possibility. Just followed you on Twitter to keep in touch easier.

It looks like you have installed the Argon Dashboard template from https://www.creative-tim.com/product/argon-dashboard. Even the screenshot on your lading page is from there. Why should one use Loopple and not Argon Dashboard directly?

    Am I missing something?

    1. 1

Hi @raviprakash! Loopple is now in beta and we are testing if developers are seeing it useful and helping them ordering their dashboard faster than entering the code and rearranging the elements directly there. I also mentioned on the landing page that the builder is built based on argon and gives credits to the Argon Dashboard template from Creative Tim in the footer of the builder. Do you find any advantage in using this builder? Any feedback is highly appreciated. Thank you!

I understand now. The innovation you've added is the drag and drop builder on top of Argon dashboard. I think this is awesome. Still lots of improvements to make but it already looks great. It will allow non technical people to create beautiful dashboards easily.

        1. 1

Yes, I already started working on the next update and fix the issues. I hope that this will be helpfull for developers.

I played around with it for a few minutes. It's pretty slick. Nice work!

Hi @kfuller, happy to hear that! Thank you!

  6. 1

very cool! congrats on the launch!

  7. 1

It would help a non-developer if you had starter templates. This could be a great prototyping tool to test layouts quickly.

    1. 1

Thank you for your feedback @adamper! I will add this to the 'to do' list.

  8. 1

It actually looks cool. I gave it a try & it was really easy to use.

    1. 2

Hi @vd and thank you for your feedback! Verry happy to hear that it was easy to use, I will try to make it even simpler in the future.

  9. 1

Very well done. You can add Tailwind Dashboard and put a price per usage/download.

    1. 1

Hi @prakis and thank you for your suggestion! I will also add a tailwind dashboard in the near future!

    Hey this looks great.
I see that you have linked to Github and this is open source MIT licensed.
You should definitely highlight this in the landing page copy.

Hi @bhargav_auvinox! Thank you for your feedback, I added it to the next update to do lost!

    Superb ! There's a lot of commercial viability in your product and people woudl be prepared to pay for it. Few comments;

    1. Adding a new row in between existing elements doesn't seem to work. It drops it at the bottom but then moving it back up wasn't possible. Maybe I was doing something wrong but it wasn't intuitive
    2. Add some additional options to modules like takes - e.g. to add more tabs.
    3. A few more blocks I think would be useful.
    4. Once blocks are added, would be to good to give a few colour / skin changes.

Overall good start and I can see this develop into something of worth.

    1. 1

Hi @CreativeGeek and thank you for your feedback! I added it to the to-do list!

  12. 1

Wow! that's great. Does it built using pure vanilla java script?

    1. 1

Hi @bansharma! Yes, the components are built using pure vanilla. The downloaded page contains all the JS from the Argon Dashboard product.

  13. 1

Hi nice job, can I ask you how did you do that?
I'm a programmer too and I wand to build a Drag and Drop App myself.

    1. 1

Hi @EvgenyFinkin! I used Javascript and PHP Laravel to develop Loopple. If you have any feedback please let me know!

  14. 1

I really liked the idea, but I think it is not working properly on touchscreen devices. I tried to move the components to the board but nothing happens. I'm using a Samsung tablet.

    1. 1

Hi @raelmax! I didn't optimize the builder for the touchscreen devices, but I am thinking to show an info message to recommend using it only on desktop devices as there is much simpler to use and to download.

  15. 1

that's awesome bro, really like the concept. keep going!

    1. 1

Hi @genkoph and thank you! If you have any feedback, please let me know.

      1. 1

find me on twitter if you want @kristiyangenkov, I wanted to build something similar and I have a lot of ideas in mind, I don't mind sharing them with you : )

  16. 1

hi, i really like the idea and has been looking around for something like this. i used to have to buy templates which are so difficult to understand and change. do you know if there are existing products that're doing what you are now? i see lots of potential!

    1. 1

Hi @torpedo77! I don't know another products that are doing the same thing. If you have any feedback or things that you would like me to develop for you in Loopple, please let me know. Thank you!
