I made a minimalist writing app 😺

Hello Indie Hackers,

This is the first ever release of my new minimalist writing app called Thunk!!

Thunk can be used to write anything: notes, to-dos, bullet journals, blog posts, recipes, etc.

What makes it different besides simplicity?

  1. Different approach to organization of Pages: there's no list of Pages, you search for them just like how you google for webpages on the internet
  2. You add markup using a Markdown-like notation
  3. Easily usable on mobile because there's no need for a bunch of toolbars that are usually present in writing apps (think how many toolbars Word has)
  4. Includes writing tools: lookup dictionary, thesaurus, or wikipedia from withing the app
  5. No change is ever lost-everything you write is automatically saved and you can go back to any version of the Page and edit it
  6. Make collections of pages: create a "Join Page" that integrates other pages. You can use this to group notes by days, group blog posts by topic, or create a book by grouping characters.

The app is free and requires only an email to register, not even a password (a login link is sent to your email everytime you want to login). When you login, there is an introduction Page waiting for you to help you get started! (and I am here for help too of course!)

You can try it here: https://app.thunkhq.com

Who would've Thunk :)
